Alondra (Alo) María Nieto Cerpa
Mentor: Rosemary Conde
Alondra (Alo) is a 17-year-old graduate from SABES in Puentecillas, where she earned a 9.6 GPA in the Physics and Mathematics program. She comes from a family of six and, since the age of 11, has taken on the responsibility of caring for her siblings due to her mother’s disability. As the eldest, she is also the first in her family to attend college. Alondra describes herself as tenacious, persistent, and confident. She lives in Puentecillas. Her personal goals include mastering English, maintaining excellent grades, earning her university degree, and exercising more regularly. She has been accepted into the Industrial Engineering program at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Guanajuato.
Christopher Erik Catarino

Erik is an 18-year-old graduate from SABES in Puentecillas, where he earned a 9.6 GPA in the Physics and Mathematics program. He resides in Marfil and assists his uncle at a mechanical workshop to help fund his education. His personal goals include completing his degree, establishing a certified mechanical workshop, and continuing to play basketball. As the first member of his family to attend university, he enrolled at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Guanajuato to pursue a degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
Juan Miguel Sánchez Martínez

Miguel is a 20-year-old graduate from SABES in Puentecillas, where he earned a 9.0 GPA in the Physics and Mathematics program. He comes from a family of five and is the first in his family to attend university. He lives in the community of La Carbonera, and while he and his family have encountered economic challenges, he has still been able to maintain his high GPA. Miguel also works alongside his grandfather in a mechanical workshop. His personal goals include developing his professional skills, securing stable employment, working for a prestigious organization, and gaining recognition in his field. Miguel has been accepted into the University of Guanajuato, where he will study Mining Engineering.
Jonathan Asahel Bustos Juárez

Jonathan is an 18-year-old graduate from SABES in Puentecillas, where he earned a 9.0 GPA in the Economics and Administration program. He lives in Villas de Guanajuato and is the first in his family to attend university. His personal goals include completing his degree, starting his career, and supporting his mother and grandparents. Jonathan has been accepted into the Universidad Politécnica del Bicentenario in Silao, Guanajuato, where he will pursue a degree in Financial Engineering.
